I was asked the other day a strange question that I had no idea how to answer.
Does the Timecode work in MP3 format?
I mean: say for example someone has a mass storage player - (such as the Numark DDS or Denon DN 2500) Can a DJ load the Timecode MP3 in to the players and then use it in timecode mode?
I have no idea why someone would do this - seems a lot of trouble for little benefits - but I was asked and told the guy I'd get back to him

I have used my ipod shuffle (with no screen) as a source of timecode output. If it can make the timecode noise, then it'll work fine.
And no, I don't DJ by pressing buttons on my iPod shuffle, it was a test to make sure the timecode engine was working, among other things.
