Hi,
since a few days I face a strange problem when opening VDJ - the problem occurs not every time, it's sporadic. The program starts an closes immediately (crashes). The system message that appears after the crash offers a restart option. When doing this restart the program opens again. After this in some cases the problem is gone - but sometimes it's necessary to repeat this procedure 3, 4, 5, ... times until the program runs "stable".
I use VDJ 6.0.2 on a Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard and a Hercules RMX. I have the latest drivers installed. The problem occurs sporadically, even with Airport switched off (this was a hint in the german mac forum). After the upgrade to Snow Leopard the problem did not occure initially, but did never occure under Leopard.
I hope someone can help me here... Thanks in advance!
Jacq

Hi,
not yet. I need to say that it does not crash anytime. It comes and goes from time to time. But I opened a ticket because of the problem and hope to receive a solution soon!
An additional hint I can give is another trad that appearently deals with the same problem:
http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/116737/MAC_Version_Technical_Support/Vdj_6_0_2__Snow__Rmx_crash_on_startup_.html
Nor really a solution yet, but may be helpful for you!
Cheer,
J

No way ;o) you can't beat a mac with osx in performance and handling!
But it's true - it does not give you such a stable feedback when the app crashes 2 or 3 times at startup. But I believe this bug will be removed and it's not necessary to buy an additional win7 and run it on my mac ;o)
