I can't wait to start using this baby for gigs. I have my first one on Friday. I am in the military, Navy, and on base they are setting up a all military DJ spin off contest. Winner gets 75% of the profites made off of admission, a huge trophey, any thing that needs a DJ on base, and bragging rights. Should be pretty good. I will let you know how it goes.

Make sure you give it a good pounding at home first. Take in on at least a 2hr set as if you were playing live, load/unload tracks, etc, etc...

You don't want to get there and find you lose the battle because you didn't test things first...

All the best, good luck, hope you win. Come back and tell us how it went.

Finally you didn't what OS? Is it Windows 7? 64-Bit?

Have you got all the right drivers etc?

Cheers,

Roy

What model is it, I am looking for a new laptop shortly. Looks very good specs.

@GadgetMan
I know. Yesterday, I was able to load VDJ and the RMX on it with no problems. Then I setup automix and let it play for like 5 hours while I was scanning my HD for bpm's, and it started doing a virus scan in the process. I had no prblems at all. Yes, it came with the 64-bit version of Windows 7. I have had it for about a week, and I have had no problems with Win7, and I am starting to like the new GUI.
