DJAM was a awsume DJ, i was watching him do some videos on YouTube and came across this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO9tOL8hcxs
If you listen to from about 1:30 onwards, his playing Amerie - One Thing.. The one thing i love what he dose here is he plays what i can only guess is a Guitar (The loud noise).
He then starts to play the beat together and it makes a little tune. I want to know how this is done? I can only think of using Hot Cue's then playing the hotcue's back?

Its hot cues. After re-mapping the whjole of the keyboard section i now assigned the F1, F2..... keys as a Cue point and 1,2,3 as cue play.
I managed to even do what DJAM did in the video, play all the beats into a little tune.
I'm discovering VDJ even more and more, its so powerful and clever. What amazes me is you can have a flanger going and constently repeat a cue point and VDj still runs solid!
Love it.
