Topic: NS7 and my Bad Ass Mac!

I got my NS7 today... and had ITCH running on my Mac in 3 minutes..... Then I downloaded VDJ 6.0.4... andit ROCKS my Mac World!!!!!
Whatever you guys did..... it ROCKS! I LOVE this NS7 and my MAC!!! Kudos to the development team! I am now ging to try it with my Dell 1750... We will see if it works Again. thanks! IT ROCKS!!!!!

With a mac.. You have options that a pc doesnt have. I have a Macbook pro 2.4 Core 2 duo with 4 gigs of ram and 320 gig hd 7200 Rpm. Its Boot camped. I could use windows or leopard.
 
My Dell 1750 works fine with it as well. There is no Mic or aux input, thats kinda weird. When I run ITCH, there is a slight delay with the mic. It's gonna throw me way off with my monitos on big gigs. There was no delay with my IDJ. Onoy with the Mic on the NS7, not the musc, kinda weird!

If you can get that Mic issue fixed, it would be the absolute best! I really dont like ITCH, soesnt even have a serato look or feel to it, kinda like some cheap DJ wanna be program. I know it has features, but I have been using VDJ since I dont know when, and I really dont want to learn another program.

The NS 7 actually looks sexy, it really does. when they make a new version, I would nopt put the headphone jack where you walkin to it, and i would add a few powered USB ports on teh back for laptop lights, but it is way cool.

BTW.. it also works off of my Dell Mini 10v that I have Hackintoshed to OSX!
 
Many have the same issue with itch. It happens to me with the VCI 300. They say that you are supposed to move the buffer settings to the minimum settings but it doesnt help. itch version 2.0 should be coming any time now.
 
Cool, I'm also thinking about getting a NS7. I think for what its worth and its controls being the closest to real turntables for me, it sounds like a good option. I know it may not be perfect but no matter what i look at even more expensive decks still have their quirks too.


I will run it off an MAC and PC
 
well i meant working well with 6.04 on mac OS... i have the the same MBP.
 
The delay is like calling a radio station, kinda funny :)
Hey, has anyone seen the ION Audio Discover DJ (Isnt ION Audio Numarks home division?) http://www.ionaudio.com/discoverdj
Its like a playschool or FisherPrice version of teh NS7. I was hoping VDJ would work with it as I wanted to get it for my son for Christmas.
 
how did u get it to work? what did you do in config?

I recently bought the ns7 and let me tell you, it is AMAZING!
but i got an issue.
i"m using a 2.26 intel core duo Macbook with my NS7 , and running VDJ 6.0.4.
Everything seems to work fine, but when i try to configure the sound card thing, it wont split the sound, like the volume knobs won't work, i can only regulate the volume thru the gain knobs..i've seen some youtube videos bout how to set it up, but they all work with PC, and they have this driver called ASIO..i tried to downloaded but it didn't work( i think i wasn't even that ASIO sound card)

PLEASE HELP!
