I feel the same way. Interesting to say the least though.

I want one to put on my desk at work :)

there is a point when miniturization gets too small for humans fat fingers to operate.....a couple of these and VDJ on a blackberry and you can have a rocking setup in a lunchbox!

right next to your tune-a sandwiches :)

will be lots of such gear out.. specially so for iPod, etc..
Companies trying to tap into the "dj gamer" thing that is bound to come, as soon as DJ Hero gets out there in all homes :)'

"Everyone" will be doing baby scratching and maybe some super bad auto mixing at their itunes, consoles, and phones..

And we should be happy, more attention to the art of djing, and the dj.. at club gigs, and in general :)

It is good, maybe us DJ's will end up with a bit more respect. People will play the like of DJ Hero, think it is easy, and have a go on some real equipment, they might do ok, but it isn't about the scratching and the mixing, sure, that is part of it, but it is the music we play.

What a lot of people do not realise is that we, as a singularity, do our best to make sure the 100, 200 maybe 1000 people in a venue have a damn good time (yes, I know the bar people, management and bouncers do their bit) but we are the people that play the music and get the place jumping! It is not about how good you can mix one song into another, it is about flow, keeping things going :)

Cute!
