Brooks Marshall Brown was born December 7th 2009 at 8:15pm. He weighed 7.14 lbs and was 20 inches in length. My first...and possibly my only child. We'll see what the wife says in a year!

Congratulations!!! I've had lots of jobs, being a dad is hands down the best! Good for you!

Being a dad is the toughest job I ever have had, but its also the most rewarding as well. Congratulations!
 
congrats bro my son was just born on the 7th too at 12:20 on the dot he weighs 2 pounds 13 ounces he came real early we had some complications and they had to remove him so now its just a waighting game to make shur he is ok but he seems to be doing great he is now breathing on his own his name is Nathan Logan Young...
 
WOW congrats to you both, as a father of a 2 yr old, enjoy the ride!!!! It gets fun when they are walkin and talkin!!
 
It's really the BEST job ever!! I have five, four of which are grown, the last (my baby girl) turned eleven last Saturday. I have cherished every moment with them good and bad.

Being loving, be firm and just be thankful you have them in your life the short time they are children. It goes SOOOO quickly you'll be wondering were your little toddler went when you see them drive off to college!

My 19 year old niece (who is younger than my first two sons) is having her first baby. My wife and I practically raised her. She has no contact with her own parents. Her baby will be our first "unofficial" grandchild. The are inducing her labor this Thursday so I'll be a pseudo-grandpa in a day or so. lol


Congratulations on joining the ranks of us in fatherhood, the "best job ever!" :)

Congratulations to you both. Enjoy them now, because in a blink of an eye, they will be grown. I am a grandfather now.
 
Awesome! Glad I'm not the only dad from the 7th. I hope everything goes well with him coming so early.

So far I've got a little over 6 hours being a dad here at the house. We came home at 11 this morning. We're loving it...and just getting started!
 
The best advice I can give you Mr. Brown. When the little one is asleep...try and get some sleep. When the little one is asleep, try not to pussyfoot around the house. If they become acclimated to noise when young its easier on you when they are older. And, go buy Momma something nice...she'll thank you for it later ;-)
