Hey everyone... been djing just over a year and wanting to get a nice timecoded setup... I've been fiddling with the Traktor Scratch demo on and off for the past couple of months, but it seems a little fiddly for me.

Anyway back on topic... I'm a poor student who can't really afford to get Serato at the moment, so I'm looking for a cost effective program aka VDJ... and I have a Macbook late 2007 edition... 2ghz cell, 1gb ram, 80hdd and I've just wiped the whole thing to get it ready and nice and fast, I've installed the latest OS X Leopard (10.5.8) with all the software upgrades (iTunes 9 etc) and its got UnrarX and Stuffit expander, which I need to get my Maya 44 control panel extracted and on my desktop and then Split/Concat installed.
I just installed the Virtual DJ 6.0.4 Demo to have a play around before considering to purchase the pro version.
It installs fine and sits in the applications bit, and I've dragged it to the dock, except when I launch the program, nothing happens, nothing opens and it just comes up with the program can't launch window and then asks me if i want to relaunch or ignore...
anyone got any suggestions, should I maybe consider getting Snow Leopard?
