Ok I had to recently purchase a new laptop. I made sure it had all or more than what needed for the vdj specifications.
My first problem is that when I put vdj on autoplay when it fades between two songs or videos it stutters or skips. I am not sure if there are some adjustments I need to make to anything ,but I didnt have this problem on my old laptop which was very outdated.
another issue is the jpboggis mapper. I cannot seem to get this to work. the install instructions say to copy .dll file to documents/virtual dj/ plugins/ control devices. on version 6 there is no control devices folder. How do I load this new mapper?
IF anyone can help it would be much appreciated
thnx

I just messed around with vdj without my denon controller. It does not skip on automix when Im not using the controller. So I'm guessing I need to make some sort of adjustments with the controller. What do I do?

DLL mappers are now obsolete and have been replaced by a new mapping method.

That would explain that lol. thanks.. Any idea what my problem would be with the controller and the stuttering in automix?

No idea I'm afraid as I've never really used Automix myself.
Does it happen with audio files, or is it video?

mainly on vids. I only use the atuomix in the beginning when i first get started. It just doesnt seem to be playing right thru the denon. Is there something maybe with the latency or a setting in the asio? I'm not real familiar with that stuff.

You could try VDJ 6.0.5 that has been released today, there are video optimizations in the changelog that may help!
