I have downloaded additional samples fom the website of VDJ but can not get them assigned to the sample library in VDJ. I saved them under the same directory as the 6 samples I already had but when I re-open VDJ I can not see a trace of them. When I deleted one of the 6 existing samples, this did not show anymore, so I wonder why it does not show the new samples available in the same directory. Anyone? Many thanks,

Hi Morpheo, thanks, I tried the rename tp .mp3 extension it but I do not seem to be able to figure out how I can add these new files to the sample database in VDJ??? They do not appear on the 'loop sampler' drop down list, neither under the sampler tab where you have an overview with the volume and whether it is a loop or jingle. Anything else I have overlooked?
 
Hey!

Did you actually load the samples? In the sampler, click on the small icon at the upper right of the sample cell. It will bring up the sampler menu where you can browse to your samples then load them into that particular cell. See page 48 of the VDJ pdf manual.

Every time I try to download samples it says I don't have the licences to do this? please help!

As far as I know you need to register your VDJ serial number in order to take advantage of downloading samples as well as any other downloads (skins, sound effects etc.).
