Topic: Copying playlists to a second PC

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hello everyone, I Nerio, I work as a DJ and use portable 2 for 2 different channels on the mixer and never let the silence in the evenings as well as the music also do karaoke, so I use a PC with programs of karaoke and a for music with VirtualDJ.
Now happens to reverse the roles of PCs cmq a problem with one of the 2, hence the need to install the various programs of music and karaoke on both.
After noting that I can use the Virtual for both, since I am allowed a maximum of 2, it installs and copy playlists created in the first laptop that is under C: \ Documents and Settings \ USERNAME \ My Documents \ VirtualDJ \ Playlists on same directory, among other things created by the same virtual moment of installation of the program, the second laptop.
Now as regards the files of the karaoke, I have both pc, while for the music that I am going to use with VirtualDJ, use an external hard drive that I move from one handset to another if necessary.
Just that the playlist did not load in the second laptop, or one where I copied the playlist created in the first.
Now I know what the reason, since the files come from the same directory, and for this I ask the Board to avoid having to create playlists in the second laptop, since I have many playlists and also quite long.
Add that to intuition makes me think that the laptop recognize the external hard drive with different letters, the first as the second G and F ... as if that was the problem, how can I make the second handset reads me the hard disk as the first, or G?

You can change the drive letter assignment of the external hard disk by going to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management

Go to Storage -> Disk Management, right-click on the drive you wish to change and choose Change Drive Letter.

If you don't want to change your drive letter. Open the playlist with notepad and use the search/replace tool to reassign the drive letter in your playlist. Ctrl H and in find type F: in replace with type G: then hit replace all and save your playlist.
