Topic: can you change the curve on video cross fader?

Hi Guys....

I have the Denon DN-HC4500 and have the video cross fader mapped so it just does the video only, my question is can the curve of the video cross fader be changed to look like this.....



This way if the cross fader is not all the way to the left/righ or if it gets knocked there is more le-way before the video transition kicks in.

I have searched wiki but cant really find anything.

any tips/ides would be good.

One of the sound effects you can download has a cross fader curve that allows you to set independently.
 
It's not currently possible (As far as I'm aware) to set the curve of the video crossfader.
 
May have to pop this into the wishes forum then :)

BUT WAIT! There is a solution. Here's a quote from another thread:

"you can do that by VDJ 6.

"crossfader_curve"
select the curve of the crossfader. enter a value to adjust the slope from a X curve (0%) to a inverted-U curve (100%). you can also specify common curves by name ("smooth", "full", "scratch", "cut", "disabled"). or you can draw your own curve, using a syntax like 'crossfader_curve "0=[1,0]/0.5=[1,1]/1=[0,1]"'."

You can change the behaviour of the audio crossfader, but not the video crossfader. You may chose some alternative video transition though.
