I purchased the Virtual DJ Pro 6.05 (download) recently because It said the Vestax VCI-300 was now fully supported. Here is my setup: Mac Book Pro running Snow Leapord and Vestax VCI-300 Controller. Headphones work fine with Serato Scratch and Itch DJ programs. I am able to Monitor and Cue out of headphone jack in these programs. I have adjusted the settings in my computer (following a forum on this site). My software settings for VDJ are Main out (Rear), Headphone out (Front), 4-Out Sound Card, VCI-300. Funny thing is, if I select Main out (Front), I am able to hear (main) sound out of headphones, however no sound comes out of Main outputs. I cannot "cue" in headphones using VDJ nor is the mic thru working. Again, Controller Sound works with other DJ programs but I love my VDJ. Please tell me I didnt waste my money. Thank You Help Please.

I spent alot of time trying to figure out this and no luck. It doesnt work well with mac. I bootcamped my mac and now running XP pro service pack 3. The headphones work but its backwards when you are monitoring. You cant monitor the cue, only the master. The responce is not the same as itch.

So, I was mislead? I only bought it because they said it was "Fully Compatable". To me, and probably most DJ's cueing and headphones are very important features. Wouldn't you say? I have had no response from Virtual DJ at all.

After bootcamping my mac and using XP, The responce with itch is still better than VDJ. There are users that say it works perfect but i dont believe that. I have asio drivers installed and the right drivers. The headphone cues is mixed up and when you scratch, the pfl changes on its own. Touching and letting go the jog, small delay. You can easily overide a saved cue point and pressing the return to cue is not fast like itch. I got tired of making adjustments, so now im using just itch for the VCI 300

To me itch is barebones compared to VDJ.
