Forum: Old versions

Topic: I know it's a silly question but ...

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Where do I enter the serial number for VDJ?

I have searched these forums and Googled this matter but nothing useful has been forthcoming.

Thanks

John

Well, considering you have Pro User status it seams you already figured it out ;-) Welcome to the jungle...

Somehow that was the kind of response I expected.

Anybody else able to help please?

What would also be useful is finding the correct ASIO driver. I seem to have acquired several different versions on my laptop and don't know which one is correct for my machine. I use a Denon 4500 controller on a Sony Vaio laptop which is running Vista (but hopefully not for much longer - Windows 7 upgrade on the way).

Thanks

John

Terrys response was valid as you didn't quantify what you are trying to do.

If you are trying to register your serial number on here, then you do it in "Modify my profile" which you have obviously already done since you are registered.

If you are trying to enter in the software to upgrade a trial you can't. You need to download the licensed version from your download centre, which will then prompt you for your serial when you run it.

Thanks SBDJ.

Please excuse me, but it has been a very frustrating few weeks.

I already installed VDJ on the laptop which turned out to be faulty. Please don't tell me that the licence is only valid for one machine.

I just have a small fear now that the latest laptop may need to be returned. Hopefully I can re-install on each machine for now, until I find one which actually works.

Thanks again.

John

Your install files and serial number is always located in your download center by your name above.

Driver and firmware updates are available on the Denon website once you register your gear with them.

I have the denon 4500 and a sony vaio laptop with vista, once i hook up the usb cable to my laptop it crashes, the screen turns blue it displays that the computer is protecting it self from damage and to check out the audio driver, what can i do to solve this

your first step would be to start a new thread, instead of adding to an old one..
thanx :-)
