Topic: Sudden loss of sound

I was DJ'ing at a house party last night and after hours playing the sound suddenly cut off. VDJ did not crash but no sound played. i closed the program and re-started and there was no further problems. this is the 2nd time this has happened.

i have the latest VDJ and brand new macbook pro

Which Version of VDJ are you using exactely ? (Pro/Basic/LE/Home, v5.x or v6.x)

6.0.5 for Mac
 
Is it the trial you're using? (guessing this as you don't have a pro licence)

Last night I had the sound drop out on me three times for 4 or 5 seconds. It's the first time I've used the mac version live (Snow leopard and DN-HC4500 asio)

Testing it at home again this morning and no problems at all.

Could have been the soundweb at the club going wonky again, not sure ......

were you using a external mixer?..I dj'd a house party once with a old pyle 2 channel mixer it died twice... I had to turn it off, on, jiggle stuff....pray... walla! came back on. Ive never had sound drop out from VDJ.

yes i was using xone 22 mixer
