best picture of all! but other than usb which is strickly for downloading / uploading files,there is a HDMI out.now i cant find a converter to switch that to firewire (want a LIVE feed of the camara to go into VDJ...seem to have seen a thread but cant find,any Brainiacs out there?

Anyone? oh Boy We's on vacation! O.k....today I went to Best Buy to see if I could find this Ion AV2usb converter that i saw in a American Musical Supply's web site. after wondering around the place for 2 hours in that I had not gotten my venti coffee (and asking sales people who didnt know what I was talking about, I found it! the Pinaccle series of Av to usb software/converters that is used for recording your TV,olt Vhs tapes and turn them into avi,Dvds,whatever.now my theory was that like a audio usb device,all I needed was an input for my camaras to go into the Lappy and the Virtual DJs Plugings would detect it! Bingo! it worked! the Interface has Video in,Stereo audio in (at this point you can also plug a camara to the Video in,and the stereo outs from your mixer to Record your mix!) and S-VIDEO.now to look for a HDMI (MY FLIP UTRA HD CAMARA) to S-Video convertion (whats on the "DAZZLE" Pinaccle interface) and were GOOD TO GO! You guys owe me for this one..(Dont worry,old West Coast term)....Lol...BTW..the DAZZLE is @ $50...and even with a mini camcorder the picture is better than a webcam...so there you have it! open the FIRETEXT plugin and breakdance in front of the camara,it will be inserted within the Video output!!....YO!

Humm,still asleep?....well have'nt found a Hdmi to s-video for the Flip ULTRA camcorder but it seems the flip doesnt stream live anyways. the other flip model have AV out but no hdmi...humm..to bad, this thing has a CLEAN PICTURE! and my other minicam (with AV out) does not! worse it needs lots of light to get a shot.SOoo..I might exchange the flip for a Sony Bloggie WHICH has Hdmi And AV OUT and be done..will Report soon!

Thanks,,thats interesting (expensive ,but interesting.. :-) considering that i have a Pinaccle AV to usb converter ($50) and it haves standard AV and s-video. But i need the camara to send a LIVE shot (the Flip Ultra HD )and I was told it does'nt...but the lower model Flip has Av mini plug out but i would have to test it out of the box since it too might not stream live.anybody knows?
