Forget about old music just start a subscription and go from there.

Why?
He mentioned he wants to do weddings etc..
which means he needs a legal collection of older music.

OK then,

Don't do weddings do pub's and bar's with your new subscription, have a go at weddings in 3 years when you've come of age!

Napster to go is looking very attractive to me right now. Is napster to go downloads compatible with Virtual DJ?

Is there any other system like napster to go or rhapsody to go that offers a monthly subscription for unlimited downloads?

Netsearch needs to be refreshed / reauthorised once a month otherwise the tracks time out and cant be used without reauthorisation, i do it before every gig just to make sure all the tracks work!. to do this right click on the Netsearch folder and select
refresh cache authorizations.
be warned, it may take a while if you have a lot of files from netsearch

Hope that helps

..but, if you play for example 80's, like me, there is only one problem - you should buy the same song many times from different legal sources, till you get valuable collection, otherwise you got crap. Why? Because there is huge quality gap! The same legal song from this online shop source is not as good as it is from that source. Online markets offering very poor quality of classic frequently. 320 kb/s, but encoded from very bad wav source. For DJs playing today music, there is plenty of good sources, but for us, I am not sure. :(
