Hi
I'm trying to find out if what I heard in a bar in Costa Rica is the workings of virtual DJ...basically it was a great mix of tunes, but played only 30 seconds of each tune before mixing automatically to the next, sometimes straight to the chorus of the next song. I asked the guy behind the bar and he said it was Birtual DJ....assuming he ment virtual dj...is this possible on this program?

just about anything is possible with this programme, except running to the bar for ya, lol, depending if the cue points have been set it would be possible to chop tracks like that, but more than likely it sounds as though it's been a pre mix.

Actually, Birtual DJ is a completely different program. It's got frame/stutter cueing which I always dreamed about for Virtual DJ, and it has all sorts of functions not included in Virtual DJ, including state of the art "bideo" technology only available in Costa Rica. The browser window also has the ability to create many Bolumes. And yes, the auto mixing features of BirtualDJ include chorus chopping tools to permit incredible auto mixing abilities not available in Virtual DJ. It's only available in countries whose native tongue is voken English. ;)
