i have a problem with my d j console ,when i start it up it will not read the software on my computer so i try upgrading it and it still did not work what should i do

ok mate first things first.
hint 1...always use the same usb port for your rmx(not hub laptop only)
download newest drivers form hercules website and continue to install drivers with rmx out of laptop.
only plug usb in when prompted to do so.step by step

I use the same wire since i bough it a did everything you said and it still dose not work and I'm using it for a desk top computer...

not usb lead mate the same usb port on your computer.
ok go to control panel and remove hercules drivers from your computer.
and follow previous steps.make sure the downloaded drivers are right for your o/s type,
save file to computer then open and run file(new drivers) and only plug rmx in when told.
shut down all other apps before installing.
and we all had problems and i used to get very annoyed and blame everything.take your time breath and follow steps clearly

just make sure your rmx is being seen by computer.plug in rmx then turn on computer.in tray on bottom right rmx shown click on it and you will see you settings.then go open vdj.go to mappers...click dropdown box and choose show connected hardware..
