I've been in the dj business for quite some time and I've been around since Atomix MP3 1.12. Switched between controllers and computers (bcd3000, xponent, hercules RMX and NS7) from pc to mac. I finally sticked with a macbook pro, hercules rmx and vinyl timecodes. Stability has been an issue for quite sometime, but with new updates once in a while, theres not much to complain about.
Except...The sound FX platform. I think it needs more attention these days with all these new softwares coming out. Vdj is a cool software and I still can't get over it, one personal reason is cause you can play with a variety of timecodes. But others judge a lack of productivity in the FX section. Many new software developpers have vdj as their base comparison and have come up with more, why not try to figure out a new FX platform?
