i use the cdj 1000 and i cannot figure out how to get the play and cue buttons to blink. what is the secret?

Here's the extract from the wiki:

blink : turn on and off the LED, once per second. You can specify the speed: 'blink 1000ms'

You can also specify when you want the LED to blink, for example when cued or paused etc.

how would u type this up? i cant get it right. here is mine now.

Is that text from a skin or a mapper command??

does it matter? but to answer ur question it is from the skin.
 
You need to decide what you want the button to do, for example:

BUTTON OFF - when not playing
BUTTON FLASH - when in pause
BUTTON ON when playing

What you have written is the basic code for the action, but not how you want the button to behave.

Yes, it does .... when you state I use the CDJ1000 that could relate to mapping the controller as well as the skin. different commands.

Anyway that skin should not be available to no licence users.
 
i still dont get it but thanks anyway. I dj 4 the church i go to and this is there copy of vdj. thats why i dont have the licence to do or download any updates. i do this for GOD. thanks for the help. i know i will get this figured out.
 
I do this for my wallet but each to their own I suppose :)

can you not get one of the church leaders/elders to download what you need. just give them a list, i'm sure they won't mind.
 
i use to do this "DJ in clubs and such" for my wallet but i was not doing it for GOD. it wasnt until i gave it all up and turned my life around that i PLAY for GOD now and he has blessed be with more than i could ever dream of. no i dont have alot of money and yes i still have problems but i have peace about everything. DJ n for GOD is a awsome thing and has opened up alot of doors for me. PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!
