Topic: Video Driver Error Message In Virtual DJ ???

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hi

can some one please tell me why when I click on the center display screen in virtual DJ I get unstable video out on my graphics card or sometimes an error message in virtual DJ say Video Driver error ???

I am using the default video skin, and it when you click on the bigger video window above the left and right hand video screens for each deck,

It kind of toggles the video from virtual DJ to video from video card

why once clicked does this cause problems in virtual dj

thanks in advanced

Please tell me what are your computer specs (Processor, RAM, Free Hard disk Space, Soundcard, Videocard, Operation System (32 bits, 64 bits))

Regards,

Hello

My spec is

windows XPpro 32 SP3 latest
Direct x 9c

I have 2 seagate enterprise 500g sata drives
Intel Core 2 X6800 3ghz
Giga byte GA-P35-DQ6 (latest Bios)
4 Gig of Kingston Hyperx 1033 DDR2
ATI Radion X1950 Pro 512 DDR3 Video Card running Svideo to my monitors
Power Supply Antec 650 watts
Sound Blaster Audigy 2zs Top Spec Card

1) Now i still keep noticing slight jerks in the video, almost like frame loss, ???

2) No one has got back to me as to why when clicking on the main video window when in video skin (VIDEO) it causes all sorts of problems

Video Driver Error messages, Causes Virtual DJ to Stop out putting video to Svdieo on card correctly? If you don't click on the video window there is no problem,

but surley this is NOT RIGHT, one click could mess the whole show and you would have to shut down and relaunch virtual DJ

I have tried this on different video cards and computer systems, Double clicking the video window causes problems

Any help would be much appreciated

Regards

until you get an answer to your problem and i have seen similar requests, why do you bother clicking on the video screen, in all the time i have run this programme i've never hit the vid monitors to start a deck, can you guys explain to me why you want to do it and still do it when you know you get a problem doing the damn thing.

now if you hit the start button, do you still get problems or does everything work fine?

just want to know what i'm missing out on.

HI

I don't click on the window !! because I know it causes problems, that's the last think I need is anymore problems

what I am really trying to find is why it does it and if it is a bug, can this be removed from virtual DJ

I dont really know what clicking on the video window is suppose do ?? can this feature be removed from virtual DJ to save messing up the video out to the video card ?

Hi,

i have the same issue with W7 32bit and ATI Raedon HD4670.
It is not only to see the Video Driver error occurs, it is more the jerky waveline who drives me crazy, everytime the video function is enabled.
Also i notice some audio output problems after running a while and some fames get lost.
If video is disabled, everthing is fine.

I guess ATI and VDJ did not like eachother ;-)

This issue is reported and i hope the DEV Team, can found a solution for the next version.

So for the moment, do not touch the video function, do not look at the waveform and pray, you don have also some video/audio output problems.

Be patient, i'm sure with the next version our problems are gone.

When you contact the support, you can get a eralier version.
If you know the latest who was working fine for you.

Haui

Thanks for your reply

Great news that I am not going mad and its not only me with these problems

I am sure boths these faults have been here for years, well ever since I have been using video & virtual DJ

The video drop frame problem may be more of a problem with ATI, though lets hope the virtual DJ team can rectify the problem

as for clicking on the video window and upsetting virtual dj it does it with all makes of video card
