I'm new to this site, this is my first post. Thank you in advance for any help and information you give.
I am VERY close to purchasing a Hercules RMX, however, I did not see pitch bend buttons.
I compared it to a very similar item (Hercules Steel) with pitch bend (+) and (-) buttons right above the pitch control sliders.
The buttons above the pitch control sliders on the RMX say (Pitch reset and pitch lock) - from what i could see in pictures?
I've been DJing lately from CD's and prefer using pitch bend buttons over jog wheels.
I'm guessing one of those "assignable" buttons can be set to pitch bend (+) and (-), and if this is possible, can you swap the pitch reset and pitch lock for one of the "assignable" buttons and replace them with pitch bend (+) and (-)?
I would really like my pitch bend buttons directly above the slider control, and do not want to purchase the Steel because it does not have a soundcard built it.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

With the included LE version of VDJ, the Pitch bend +/- are only available on the assignable buttons.
With the Pro version however, you could remap the entire console to your liking, so having Pitch bend +/- at the same place as on the Steel.

RMX upgrade to VirtualDJ Pro is a very good deal... it is at $149 and give you full control over the mapping and full downloads in current mappers in DOWNLOAD PLUGINS TOOLS area in the website. You wil be pleased.
About the bend...there are not bend buttons on RMX, this could be remapped (I use them in Pitch Reset and Beat Lock buttons) but you can have bend in RMX using the jog wheels, just have to press SCRATCH button and you will switch from Scratch mode to Bend mode.

If you use the RMX skin, there are pre-mapped bitch bend buttons in the drop down menu.
