Hey guys, I am looking to get into virtual DJing. I would say I was quite tech-savvy. I am seriously looking at the Hercules Steel

Thing is to use it you need an external sound card right? Well what kind of soundcard do I need? Will something incredibly simple work?

Or will something more expensive be needed?

What difference do these two actually have? I would be looking to play bedroom, small clubs and house parties sort of thing so I won't really need loads of audio outputs. Which sound cards would you recommend? Or would you recommend to just get something with a built in sound card? The Numark Omni-Control for example. Personally I like the look of the Hercules Steel much more than anything I've seen.
Oh yeah and price most definately IS a factor =P

the hercules rmx has a built in soundcard.i used one for nearly 2 years and after set up ptoperly never had issues

Hercules DJ Console RMX if you really want to go that way. Not top quality but ok..Get an NS7 or 2 pioneer cdj 400s and cases

Like the guys sayd... The Hercules Rmx has a desent sound card....many people use this. theres a new card from Hercules youre supossed to "team up" with the "Steel" but total ( @ $600) would be twice as much,plus you'll be using up your USB outs that you will need for other things like camara,hard drives etc...the RMX is the best deal around...

I have the STEEL console and i just use a cheap USB sound card about $20. I mean its just for the headphones. CHEAP!
But the thing is with that i'm only using the Master output on dest top speakers not Huge club speakers. Depends on what type of DJ you are. I just like DJ-ing at BBQs and Drinkouts....not at the clubs.
