Hey whats up I was wondering some things regarding TT's. First off How long should a TC Vinyl last if you scratch on it regularly (CV02 to be exact)? Also I upgraded the cartridge on my tables (m44's) and I'm having a weird issue. Ive used them probably close to 8 or 9 hours now. One TT is working well tracking on the required weight set up of 3grams. On the other table I have to set it to 4 grams in order for no sound distortion. Im worried this is damaging my records. Also even at 1g over weight the TC display is all over the place, but im hearing no audio dropout or distortion. I have the needles at the correct 25 angle as well, Does this damage records more? Could it be the stylus is just not broken in yet? I have to admit my TT's are cheap (Gemini) but i thought maybe someone might have some suggestions for me =D.
