okay guys iv been dj for about a month now. im useing my buddys mac. and im ver lost on it.. he has ituns on it but some times when we are on the virtual dj and we search for a song it comes up with a error.
and another ? i have taken some of the flash drivers and got music from all my friends ill take and put the flash driver onto the mac drag and drop to get some of the songs. but when i pull the flash drive out some of the songs that i had before the driver i dont have after.. need some help thanks guys...

It means that the songs either no-longer exist (I.e: Deleted) or have been moved or renamed outside of VirtualDJ, so that its own internal database entry for that song now points to a file that no-longer exists. To correct, browse to the folders where your music is stored, right-click on them and choose Add to search DB.
NOTE: Apple DRM protected (.m4p) music cannot be played in VirtualDJ. If you wish to use iTunes as your music source, make sure that you purchase non-DRM protected music.
Music on an external drive (E.g; Flash drive) must be copied to your local hard disk (E.g: Using finder), otherwise it will obviously not be available when you remove the drive from your computer.
