I just upgraded my hardware, installed the latest Soft Vers. 6.07 I believe and now my searches aren't behaving as they did before and yes I checked all my options/setting and they are identical to my old configuration.
I USED to be able to search like this...
search: aero*crazy
and I would get all result for any fields matching those results, IE Aerosmith, Crazy
NOW, when I do the same search, I get nothing unless I happed to have a file with aerosmith crazy in the same FIELD, i.e Title or Artist and it doesn't seem to be searching the filename field at all.
This has made my searches MUCH slower and a LOT less accurate.
Is this an upgrade issue? or am I just not getting it?
Is there a way to fix it?
