anytime i back cue from the beginning of the record the track go to the middle of the track then the beginning
which throws me off beat with vdj

Do you have a cue point in the middle ?
If you slowly move backward and forward the vinyl at the beginning with the turntable motor off, can you see the jump?
Do the same thing at the end of the vinyl
