Any mobiles out there using a projector for video?? If so, what brand and is it through a HDMI. I'm considering a Epson 705HD that runs a HDMI, but hesitant about spending $750 for something I don't even know will project videos onto a bare wall.

I am using a BenQ MP624. It has a technology that adapts the image to the color of the wall. It works awesome even on bare block (concret grey) walls. It has 3000 lumes, 1024 x 768. HDMI/VGA. I use VGA just because I see no difference between VGA and HDMI and also because I daisy chain 2 projectors without a HUB or even my video HUB is VGA and my long 30 and 50 foot video cables are VGA.

I recently bought my projector. Its a Optoma EW1610. Its 2700 Ansi and 2000: 1 Contrast ratio. It has a DVI connection and the resolution is 1280x800 Native. The image quality is really good. The screen i have is a 92 inch elite. Even though it has a dvi connection, i can use a dvi to hdmi which works great.
 
When buying a projector I would recomend at least 3000 Lumens, I do videos and also use it for weddings and parties and I find that it has better viewing in brighter rooms. I use two Sharp x65 projectors. Just my 2 cents
 
 
Make sure you got a rear projection projector. And Ideally you want to make sure its got a close proximity lense so you don't have to put the projector so far away from your screen to get a decent sized image. If the projector has this lense fitted you won't need to have such a high lumen rating on the bulb. But obviously the higher the lumen rating the better the image will be.

I'm using a projector at the moment and to be honest I'm thinkn of downgrading to using two 32inch LCD screens instead.

This model has a lot of different input which is great but is it any good?
 
That projector is Very Good. It has a 120 HZ refresh Rate. Its 24 bit plus the Britness is 2500 and its 3D ready.. The New Videos are being recorded in H.26 Mp4.. They would look really good with that projector. I have an Optoma EW1610 (Same Resolutuion as the one your talking about) Excellent picture quality. I keep the lamp on the STD setting and it looks very bright.
 
How much didya pay for it?
 
Umm, well I'm finding myself a little out of my depth on this topic seen as I've never really bothered with projection before unless it's already been installed.

Need to buy one this week, Inputs, HD, Brightness, Reliability are the things I'm considering. Looking for a bargain, Anyone fancy looking on ebay.UK for me and posting some links?
