Alright here's what I need done....
I was mixing the other night and had a hip hop track going. I was about to mix in that 3 6 Mafia song, Stay Fly.
If you know the song, the dude says, "Yeeeaaahhhh" in the beginning.
Well, using my turntables, I kept scratching and rewinded that sample using the vinyl on the turntable. Basically, I was sampling a sound from that song the old fashioned way. I know VDJ comes with a sampler, but is there a way to live record a sample from a song/mp3 that you're currently have cued in VDJ?
I'd hate to buy a sampler if VDJ can record small samples from your own mp3 library.
