i have both the evolution x-session and the m-audio x-session pro.
i have no problem mapping the m-audio, but am unable to map
the evolution knobs with the pre-existing map. the x-fader and
buttons are assignable. the simple midi wrapper does not recognize
the evolution x-session at all. i have attempted with all versions of
virtual dj 6 up to the most recent. i can map all of the evolutions
knobs, buttons, and x-fader successfully using vdj 5.2.1
i have attempted using windows xp and 7.
i have tried renaming the mapper file, manually editing the file,
and mixing and matching as the existing assignment names are misleading.
any help would be much appreciated.
