Hey all,
I just noticed VDJ was doing this last week, when I would reset a song's pitch with the slider (both sides do this) it adds .25 bpm to the song's default tempo. I am wondering why it is doing this and how to correct it. This is not a huge deal, it is just annoying and if it is a hardware glitch, I want to take care of this now before my warrantee is up. I am assuming it is a quick fix in the software, but I am not sure.
Thank you,
DJ Alpaca

Hello,
I don't get this issue either in VirtualDJ DJC 5.2.2 or in VirtualDJ Pro 6.0.8 on a PC with Windows XP.
Please detail your configuration and how you meet this issue.

mine does the same thing, but most of the time it isn't even noticeable and worst case scenario, after you reset it just hit the "pitch reset" button to move it that .25 back to where it needs to be. I never really put too much thought into it, but you might be on to something, lol.

Again, I'm not worried with the DJ aspect... I normally play my songs with a faster tempo anyway, I am just worried if this is a sign of impending failure of the hardware. I am running Mac 6.0.4 and it does this with both my custom map and the map that comes with the VDJ software.

What is your pitch range set to in CONFIG -> Options?
The wider (Greater) the range, the more course the adjustments will be (Go up/down in larger increments.) If you are using a very wide range, this might be why you can't get to zero. Try a smaller range such as 8% or even 6%.

I will be sure to try that. It makes a lot of sense that that would be the problem.
Thank you
