Does anyone knows if they work with VirtualDj?
I tried to set them up yesterday with no luck at all.
At best the sound was going a few seconds forward, and more seconds backwards!!!
The hardware setup is Ok, since on the exactly same setup the VirtualDj vinyls work like a charm...

I would check the cabeling / grounding of your system and maybe you should change your system to check if it works properly.

As I said, on the exact same system, with same cables, grounding e.t.c. VirtualDj Vinyl works perfectly. It's Ms Pinky vinyl that it doesn't... I tried all the options available, but I could not get it to work....
Any more tips?
Thanks!
PS: The same vinyl on the same system on another app also works!

Exactly the same setup: do you mean that you also haven't changed the timecode engine? :)

Nope... I mean the hardware setup...
Long story short:
On a system tweaked and running VirtualDj vinyl fine with no issues at all, I tried to use Ms Pinky 2nd Gen vinyls.
The first thing I changed was the engine of course! I tried all Ms Pinky engines, and Generic engines (both 1000Hz and 2000Hz) None of them worked. I also tried the PCDJ engine which is the same with Ms Pinky 2nd Gen vinyl. No luck there too...
After that I tried to mess around with various engines and the rest settings. Most of the time the sound would just go backwards on a very slow speed. My best shot was with "VirtualDj very old engine V3" where I could get the sound to go forward on normal speed for 5 seconds then backwards for 10 seconds and so on...
I tried all the sides of the vinyls on all possible combinations, no luck. I started to doubt about the vinyls.... So I fired up the original app the vinyls belong to. In zero times the vinyls worked as they should.
Back to virtualdj, tried again inverting stereo, inverting phase, trying ALL the engines, no luck.
I restored my settings and put back the VirtualDj vinyl. Everything worked flawless...
So I come to a conclusion that Ms Pinky 2nd Gen must not be supported correctly on VirtualDj despite the fact that it allows you to select this engine.
I just wanted to ask here to get a confirmation if this is the case, or if I need to perform any "special" settings to get it work.

I have had the same issue,
Using Ms.Pinky Gen 4, VDJ just not like the Ms Pinky. It goes quite mental, sound all garbish and static like mad etc..

Answer this. If you have a great running stable system why try to get another timecode vinyl to work?

Just for fun...and to experiment..its always nice to get more experiences and knowledge...plus I have the same issues with numark vinyls...traktor and serato vinyls work flawlessly.

Hate to come off like some purist freak, but the word is "VINYL" not "VINYLS"
even when speaking of more than one piece of wax, it's still VINYL..
..sorry, that just irks me

I shall try the serato vinyl, Bit dissapointed since I wasted money on Ms Pinky.
Maybe they will fix the issue in v7
PhantomDeejay, your time code signal looks a bit messy.
