Just wondering if someone can help me. When mixing 2 different tracks together, what is happening is that when I line them up using the bar at the drop, the one im trying to mix in keeps drifitng. Im fine using the sync button when beat mixing but I dont know how stop the drifiting of the track. It doesnt happen to all tracks I try to mix in just some. Just wanted to know what settings to adjust. any help would be agreat thanx

I had the same problem. I restarted VDJ and the controller, then everything was fine again.

Some tracks are not 100% correct BPM, and some tracks might drift a little yes.
This is why your controller have a pitch slider, to manually do tiny adjustments (of speed/bpm), and you also have pitch bend buttons (as well as usually pitch bend on jogwheels in non scratch mode), to manually adjust the track to keep them in sync.
All djs to this, and its normal :)

I dont use any controllers. i just mix on the laptop but would like to know what options to change to stop the drifting ?

the BPM for each song needs to be correct..
IE: song 1 might say 128 BPM, and song 2 might say 128 BPM, BUT! if in reality song 2 is actually 130 BPM then the songs will drift away from each other.

I agree, so if your blending 8 - 32 then your better keep your hand/finger/mouse on the pitch bend. And get used to it as normal practice.
Think of it this way. This practice will make you a better DJ because of instinct instead or sight. ( not saying your a bad DJ ) just better. Hell, every controller and CD player and TT I have to play with has a different technique of blending. I would love to match and drink my beer while the songs are blending but these DAMN computer processors and algorithms dont play nice at times..lol
