I am new to DJing and trying to figure out my setup, I could really use some advice.....
I currently have an external mixer (denon x1600) and one Denon 3700, also have VCI-100. Feeling like the VCI-100 is not helpful or repetitive controls since mixing with external faders/crossfade and EQ. Should I sell the VCI and get a 2nd 3700 and just use them for Midi control or do you think I should stick with what I have?
Thanks for any advice anyone has to offer...

You'd be smart to probably get another 3700. What kind of DJ are you? (mobile, club, wedding)

agreed, get a second denon. i have 2 and love it. but also looking to buy a controller like the vci for small gigs. let me know if you are selling it.
imo, the VCI would be good to keep for small occasions but if youre strapped for cash for the next denon, sell it.

Thanks much for your thoughts...I'm doing primarily weddings and other mobile gigs (large parties), Originally got the 3700 as partially backup equipment but I really like it so I think it would make sense to have 2. Not sure what to consider backup in that case or is that not necessary? Do you like using the midi control of the 3700?
Lamont76- I am definitely considering selling the vci for financial reasons....I'll let you know for sure...thanks again
