OK, fun time. A DJ buddy of mine snapped the attached photo of a DJ setting up at a gig. Can anybody tell me how many things you see wrong in this picture? It is not a great picture, but there is at least one thing that is obviously wrong. I invite all of you to be creative here after picking out the obvious.

1. Both are obviously ugly as they are looking away from the camera.
2. The Dj has some psychological or orientation problem as he is talking to his reflection instead of the audience.
3. The best china on display can be picked up at any car boot sale.
4. The wallpaper is sssoooo "retirement home".
5. American Audio stopped selling the effect chandeliers two years ago.

I thought the most obvious problem was the way he ran the speaker wires!!

Well it's pretty hard to tell from the picture as it's quite blurry... But I cansee what you mean now with the speaker cable running over the cabinet, behind the mirror etc...
@Tayla, good point about the "best china" - although if he turns those speakers up I'm sure they won't stay in that cabinet for long...
However I'm more concerned with the the fact that the guy in the refelction looks nothing like the guy lookng in the mirror... I see an asian guy wearing a turban looking back at the white guy who looks like his playing his air guitar!!!!
Cheers,
Roy

1) The speakers are unneccesarily high - the tweeters should be slightly over head height.
2) Assuming he's using a normal stereo amplifier, why is he only using one side of it? The speakers are daisy-chained together...
3) The left stand hasn't been opened out properly, the darn thing looks like it's ready to fall over...
4) The speakers and stands don't even match each other.
5) And the less said about the cable spaghetti on the floor and round the back the better!

First thing I noticed is he knows nothing about equipment placement, and I really like the speaker cable running over the top of the picture frame, very attractive. (Notice also how he's running his speakers is a "series" type connection like the old Christmas tree lights, if one speaker goes out so does the other and so on.
After blowing up the photo it's plain to see this guy is thanking his FATHER for booking him at Grandma's house.
