Well I bet this has been asked a million times but ill ask it again anyway so hope you all dont get to mad. I'm looking to get a a good midi controller because I have recently got into dj'ing and I have narrowed it down to the vci-100 and the m-audio torq xponet I know both work on virtual dj and are the best controllers in my pricerange. But I would really like to know by people who have used both what the pros and cons of both of them after a ahwile of use. I was also thinking vci-300 because its like the 100 with a built in soundcard but I dont know how much support it has for virtual Dj. Anyway if someone could point out some good reasons to lean in one direction or even a better controller because this has been a tough decesion anyway thanks to anyone who can help

A good controller to buy would be the American Audio VMS4. The only problem is.. It comes out in July. It will be better than the Hercules RMX, VCI 100, VCI 300 & The Xponent. I say it will be good because, They added Pro grade premium faders into the controller. Why add things like this if its going to be an ok controller. The VCI 300 is better for scratching but for features & design.. The VMS4 wins.

The sound card has no ASIO drivers, so if using it on a PC you would need to use ASIO4ALL to get it to work. However, because ASIO4ALL only emulates ASIO, latency isn't as good (Low latency is important if you will be scratching, otherwise it doesn't matter so much.) On Mac it uses standard CoreAudio built into MacOS.

i own the rmx but i will have to 1 up with caliente, if your going to go with a controller, the new AA will be the better choice at this point in the game..if you need it now,,, then your back to the rmx...

Hmmmm since the vci-300 doesnt have asio drivers on pc and I would have to buy a soundcard on the vci-100 i probobly should just wait to get the vsm4 but then again who knows how good its going to be till it comes out
