Ok guys and gals, I think i may of found a DIFFERENT bug. I don't think it's by design. I've tried mutiple skins, try it using the VIrtualDJ Full Video Skin.
- Start a video on deck 1.
- While it's playing, drag another video to the deck 1 video preview window.
On my two systems which are totally different hardware , the audio keeps playing but the video switches to the video dropped to the preview window, WITH the 1st video audio still playing VERY FUNKY! This is NOT good.
- Drag the orignal video back to the preview window, it picks right up with the lyrics.
Others PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE test this and let me know, I think this needs fixed.

sorry.. this is not a bug..
its actually by design..
mainly used for people who want to play another video on top of an existing MP3 song..
I dont have VDJ in front of me, but their are a few settings you can change..
Also, dont drag the songs/videos to the preview window.. Drop the songs into the player itself.
also, right click on the affected files, and you should be able to remove the "attached video"

It's called video linking and is very useful.
You can map a shortcut to unlink it, or you can right click the file in the browser and unlink it from there.
As above you can disable this feature completely by disabling the option "Link video when dropped on preview window" in the video config tab.

Ok found another problem but probably me doing something wrong again. I had about 10 videos accidently linked to other videos. When this happens and you are only searching for videos, the video no longer shows up if only "Video" is selected as the search type. I have to select Audio and Karaoke to be able find the video again.
I'm now playing with Folder Filters to create one to find any items with linked videos. Anyone know if that is possible?

An audio file with a video linked to it is still just an audio file. A video linked to a video should still be a video so that could be a problem ;)

Yes, that filter folder works perfectly. I haven't had a chance to test the video linked to video showing as audio though; I will do later.
