what are the pro's on con's, if there are any, with cleaning the database? just want to make sure that i am doing everything right. I have a PC with VDJ 6.0.8 and an external hard drive where all of my music and videos are stored. will this feature delete any songs on my external drive? or will it just delete songs on computer? I have read some other posts and found other Dj's having issues, so i just want to be sure and know what to do. Thanks

We do not delete music ... the way the Check and Clean works ...
Check - validates your database entries against your drives. If there is a reference to a file in the database but VirtualDJ can not find the file then it is flagged.
Clean - takes all the 'flagged' entries from running the Check and removes those entries from your database(s).

thanks, I was getting the wrong idea from reading some of the other posts, I was thinking that it was an opportunity to clean my hard drive so that all these songs would not bog down my computer.
