Hi,
From one day to an other, VDJ started saying this (skin file invalid (erreur at line %i in the xml file)), with nothing having changed inbetween the momment it worked and stoped working.

This error usually occurs if the My Documents\VirtualDJ folder is missing. If you install the software as one user (E.g: Administrator) and then try to run the software as another user, then you will get this error due to this folder being missing (It exists for Administrator only in this example.)
To resolve, either re-install the software as the user that you will be running it as, or copy across this folder.
Another possibility is that you have installed an incompatible skin. Your free RMX Console Edition does not allow custom skins to be used, except during the 20 day Pro trial. If you are using the trial and did not download the latest v6.1 version, then you will get this error if you attempted to use a skin designed for VirtualDJ v6. The built-in trial in the Console Edition is of v5.2 - If you are using the trial, please download the latest version http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html
