Ok everyone currently, I run VDJ Pro on a Dell laptop connected to a Hercules Controller RMX. I am going to purchase a mac today. Will this same setup still work correctly? I wont have to purchase anything in addition do I? The Hercules controllers has software for the Mac so I'm thinking I will be fine

Are you using video or audio only? This will dictate what kind of Mac you should buy.

I am running just audio. BUT here is the thing. I want to use timecode. I currently use timecode by running my turntables through my Rmx controller and using VDJ. How do I do this through Mac?

Are you using external mixer?
You can still use that way as you do on windows;)
hercules rmx is fully supported on mac version, you no need to create it as an aggregate device.

I'm not using an external mixeter. Just the RMX as my mixer and sound card for the timecode. I think I heard something that mac does not support asio or something. SO I was thinking if I ran turntables through my rmx and the mac it wouldn't work. I'm not sure I haven't tried it yet
