Topic: Left deck didn’t upload all the song

In my last session after 3-4 hours my left deck didn’t upload all the song only first 15 second the right deck was ok
This "bug" never happened before
After I close and open the VDJ it was working ok
VDJ: 6.0.8
OS XP sp3
setup Max Load: Always

I have most DEFINITELY seen this error before.

For me this happens SUPER RARELY.. like maybe once a year, but this has happened to me since version 5.2!

I've never worked out what has caused it, or even how to fix it, but the only common scenario was I had been loading tracks from a USB Memory Stick or external HDD.

I've never had the issue when just using the internal HDD.

Either way once the bug is triggered, a restart is all you can do to fix it.
 
this happen to me with 5.2 last week with a usb connected HDD, when u connect with esata this bug does not seem to happen, i used a esata HDD for a year with no probs but i just got a new drive 2 weeks ago now connected using USB and what do you know after 4 hours the left deck wouldnt load the whole file. I am now trying 6.1, i could move back to a esata drive BUT i have found the new esata drives use a different chipset than what my HP laptop has and will not operate correctly.
 
i use always external HDD and it weird that only left deck have the problem, useing internal HD isnt option for me my external HD is 2T

btw i have a bad solution if i dont want to restart the VDJ during the session
1. upload the song
2. push play
3. move the mouse cursor on the waveform display from start to the end and fill the track

i hope to get a pro solution from VDJ team :)
