hi guys,i finally got my mixdeck to work with vdj thx to cstoll but i have a birthday party to play this weekend and my cousin was asking me if there is any way he can bring his external hardrive and play as well using the vdj and the mixdeck. does anyone have any insight to this? any help is considered,thx.

I tried that in the past and it work very well, but, why he doesn't use 2 flash drives and play direct from the mixdeck, the only problem is if he is not a dj, he won't be able to beat match properly, make sure you have the latest firmware isntalled on the mixdeck, all the new mixdeck doesn't come with the latest firmware, v034.

thx for responding but both of us are really not djs, we just play at our frieds and families parties and like the whole idea of djing so i guess the two flash drive is out of the question but if you can would you be kind enough to give me a detailed idea how we should go about using the external hard drive and the mixdec/vdj? thx.

Vdj could see your external hard drive. it will be under volume;)
