OK, I'm new to all this and am looking at my friends VDJ. I like it and am going to purchase but just need to know a few things that I can't seem to get answers to on the net.
I have an 27" iMac with standard soundcard and want to know if I install this, can I hook up an external mixer with one turntable, one cassette deck, two microphones, and still use the two decks on VDJ for my mp3's? And if this is possible, can someone direct me to what I need to purchase and go about hooking this up to my iMac?
I am looking to record a small "radio show" which would be burned to CD or file uploaded to a server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm not even sure if this is the right way to go.
Thanks in advance for any help and guidance.
Chris

First of all I would start out by buying Virtual DJ, it seems you are a non license user, trust me Virtual DJ works a lot better when your using a paid version, these cracked versions have code removed from the original program and causes it to be unstable.
Now, I was nice to answer your question being that your not a licensed user. You will find it hard to get your questions answered when your not a licensed user.
If you want to have the 2 decks from virtual DJ going to your external mixer you will need a sound card with 4 outs like a MAYA44, American Audio Versa Port or a Numark DIJO, these are some of the cheaper priced options. These sound cards have 4 outs, each deck will take 2 outs that's why you need a sound card with 4 out. You will run RCA from the outs on your Sound card to the input of your mixer. You will need 2 available channels on your mixer, one for each Virtual Deck. These cards cost around $100 there is other sound card options of course but they cost more, I guess it all depends on your budget.
Another cool sound card option will be something like a Hercules MK2 that has built in sound cards and controls so you can use it to control your virtual decks instead of using your computer to do it. These always come up used on ebay for like $100 just make sure you get one that is MAC compatible.
