Topic: pioneer cdj 2000 soundcard controllers

Im having trouble setting up my cdj 2000's since i updated. Before i'd just link as controllers and cdj 1 would be left deck, and cdj 2 the right. Both would act as seperate sound cards, cdj 1 being left, cdj 2 being right.

Now they both act as controllers but only play down the right (cdj 2) as a sound card. Even though both show up as seperate sound cards. It's like this on my mac and pc. I've tried all the sound set ups. Please help it's doing my head in.

Are you using dual soundcard setup in config?
or ASIO?
 
Dual. Both sound cards show up in virtual dj and on my pc. But i sorted it now, only by mistake. I unplugged them, and plugged them in one at a time and waited a while. For some reason it has now decided to name the sound cards as CDJ 2000 3 and CDJ 2000 4 where as before they were both named cdj 2000 and would only let me select one in virtual dj. Maybe it had a problem finding them.

I finally took the time to set up my cdj 2000 as a midi controller to work in conjunction with VDJ6. I made a 2pt video on youtube, check it out if your wanting to hook up your cdj to VDJ6.

There is a way to get on and of with Link with Vdj.
I was asking on Pioneer forum and got the answer right here:

Press LINK then press the BACK button and you should get out without powering down.
