Has anyone else besides me used their Moto Droid to use with Netsearch at a venue that doesn't have WiFi? I use the USB tether with my MacBook Pro and the BlueTooth DUN with my PC lappy.

I believe this will work with any Android phone...
It works great! So far it has helped me through my last 3 gigs

Ive tethered my droid for some occasions, but never have used it for netsearch. Id be very weary:
1. when i used it, i couldt load a midi sound file one a single web page completely - either that or it takes too long for a whole song
2. if you DO get a song, (maybe netsearch is fast on it), If you go over 5gb of web data a month on your "unlimited plan," it is reported they will charge you an additional cost per mb after than. And I use my phone alot either way with email, gps, etc. Apparently the unlimited plan is not exactly... unlimited.

I use Easytether to wirelessly tether to my Macbook with my Blackberry Bold. It works really well and I get pretty fast 3G in most places. I've never used it for netsearch, but I have for downloading songs at a job and it works great.
