HOWEVER im specing it with another jock and he wants djm 5000 and cdj900
fantastic lots of midi to play with but before i commit to it i need 2 questions answering
is the crosfader in the djm 5000 asignable i.e. can i make it crossfade the videos (pretty sure it can but better safe then sorry)
and seeing as the other jock is a serato guy (who isnt bothered that the cdj's can control it he just wants to use his timecode) what happens when i switch from usb to cd and back again does it just work or do i have to reset anything?? does the usb drop out completely or is it left runing any answers would be greatly appreciated

yes you can use crossfader to mix videos i do.also nothing happens when you switch.just use mapper in vdj to assign djm5000.if you normally use this then once you connect lappy to djm5000 it will show straight away.
just make sure you switch to midi on djm5000 before starting vdj
