Hi all
First post on here but have been using forum for info for a while now.
I have just purchased Pioneers DJM5000 and MEP7000. I have always used Hercules RMX before now so this is a bit of change.
The DJM5000 has arrived, still waiting for the MEP7000.
A few things I could do with some help on, I want to keep using VDJ and have installed the drivers, the music plays fine through VDJ with the DJM5000 but a few things that I dont understand
1. The skin does not replicate what im doing on the mixer
2. You only seem to be able to use CH2 on the mixer, how is it possible to use one CH on a mixer when trying to mix and play through 2 decks
3. There is no Pioneer option that i can select in the mid control in VDJ options. I have searched on here for a download but nothing seems to replicate the system i have.
Maybe these questions will be answered when the MEP7000 arrives so i may be being a bit hasty but want to get the question in early so i undertand what the heck is going on when the MEP arrives as I dont want to spend days just trying to get it to work, its going to take me god knows how long to learn how to use the new system as it is
Is there anyone else on here that uses this system with VDJ successfully and could you possibly talk me through what has to be done to get this set up and running properly, ill worry about mastering the system when i get to that stage
Thanks in advance

You should not and do not need it to - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4115/MIDI_mapping_an_external_audio_DJ_mixer.html for the reason why.
You will need to map each button, knob, slider, etc. manually via Simple MIDI Wrapper to perform the function of your choice (See http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4149/VDJscript_Mapping.html ) The only controls you should need to normally map are the crossfader to video_crossfader and optionally spare buttons, knobs and sliders to control effects, samples, etc.
If you map volumes, EQ, audo crossfader, etc. then you will not be able to headphone pre-listen from the mixer.
To use VirtualDJ with two channels on the mixer, you will need to set your sound setup appropriately in VirtualDJ, using the Outputs: External Mixer option.

There is no native support because this is not necessary (Only the crossfader needs to be manually mapped if you wish to video crossfade), and no users have submitted their own mappings yet.
