Hello all,
So I'm new at this DJ thing and I'm trying to teach myself everything but as I'm sure you know it takes a lot of time and effort. I very recently purchased a very basic Hercules Mixer for pretty cheap that came with a watered down version of virtual DJ but it's enough to get me started. My first question is this. My mixer doesn't have an audio interface and to buy a good one would be just as expensive as buying a better mixer, Hercules RMX. Could someone explain to me in great detail the workings of an audio interface, how you judge a good/bad one, If I would need an audio interface with more than one input and output at this point, and whether it's more conducive to get the new mixer with and audio interface or just a 300-400 dollar audio interface?
I also was playing with my mixer the other day and managed to changed the wave graph in virtual DJ so one beat goes by at a time, it's not a very helpful way to see your music. Does anyone know how to change it back to it's original periodicity?
