Are there any reported errors with this version of windows. I'm just replaced my trust old Toshiba Satellite with a spanking new one and I'm struggling playing mpegs. they play ok in WMP but wont play in VDJ???

Same here. It just says Error when I try to play .mpg (MPEG4) files in Virtual DJ. They play in windows fine. I had to install a codec on win XP to get them to work, but the codec I have won't install under win 7 (it's one of those you have to right click on then go to "install" in WinXP, but win 7 doesn't have that option?
Any ideas?

Did you happen to move those mp4s to a different folder on ur hard drive?
I never had to install any codecs to my new win 7 64 bit machine. I play mp4 mpeg2 and mpeg1 on VDJ no error problem.

No doesn't matter what folder they are in. Seems to be some sort of codec problem, but I can't find one for win7 that will work :( They all play fine under WinXP. Any ideas?
